Equinox Theatre Company

Equinox Theatre Company is an ensemble-based theatre company dedicated to the creation, development, production and touring of new inclusive theatre work. The company was founded in 2008 by eight graduates of KCAT’s theatre course who wanted to create opportunities for themselves as professional artists.

Previous stage works include The Water Boys (National Tour 2019/2020 co-presented with The Watergate Theatre); collaboration on The Big Chapel X (Asylum Productions, Kilkenny Arts Festival with The Abbey Theatre 2019); The M House (Dublin Theatre Festival and the Lyric Theatre, Belfast as part of Bounce! Festival) and (The Making of) The Frogs After Aristophanes (Project Arts Centre, Dublin Fringe Festival 2012). Equinox is part of KCAT Arts Centre in Co. Kilkenny which is dedicated to the fostering and nurturing of creative ambition and the promotion of inclusive arts practice nationally and internationally.
