Learning through play and sensory exploration are at the foundation of our learning programme. Children are experts at playful exploration and adults can learn a lot from participating in and facilitating it.

The Lobby Gallery

Every season at VISUAL we make an interactive installation responding to the exhibitions. This is called the Lobby Gallery and is always free for families. Children and adults can explore different materials and artistic processes. Exploring through physically touching, building, drawing, playing can help us to better understand how artists work and how artworks are made.
