Admission: Free but booking required - applications close 5th May!

Young people aged 15 - 20 are invited to join this new music club at VISUAL led by Tadhg Griffin with DJ Robbie Kitt and the VISUAL team. During these weekly sessions the group will write, share and learn songs together, perform as a band and work towards a public event on the 15th of June at VISUAL, the first ever Behind The Curtain Club night!

Electronic music artist Robbie Kitt will host DJ workshops. Participants will get a chance to learn how DJing works, get a hands on experience of using DJ equipment and facilitate them to play their favourite music at the Behind The Curtain Club night. The workshop will also include discussions around party planning and the emotional use of music.

Participants can bring instruments they play, though participation is encouraged if you don't play or sing; everyone will be included!

To book a place please email Clare Breen expressing your interest at learning@visualcarlow.ie before midnight on Sunday 5th of May. Places will be limited so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Sessions will take place:
17th, 24th and 31st of May, Friday afternoons
7th, 8th (Saturday) and 14th of June

Event takes place on the 15th June - participants should try to participate in all sessions!
