The humble dandelion is one of nature's most abundant, useful and friendly flowers. For a long time it has been considered an annoying weed, but join Maura Brennan to explore how wonderful the dandelion actually is! It is a special source of food for pollinators in early spring and you can use it for food, medicine and to make some beautiful art.

The workshop will explore the themes of humans crossing the thresholds into the wilderness of nature and finding a sense of belonging and home. In the workshop, participants will play fun games and be invited to cross the threshold of the human world to the more than human world and explore these themes through the lens of a dandelion, shifting to a more ecocentric perspective of the world. We will use natural materials to make prints and balms and identify plants and use some tools.

This workshop will take place outdoors and warm clothes are essential.

Suitable for families with children ages 5+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
