Grow Your Own Organic Food ~ Getting Started with Soil

Soil is where growing begins and in this two hour workshop Dee Sewell of Greenside Up will share tips about growing food directly into the soil, making raised beds and an introduction to no-dig gardening, sharing her own experiences of each. She will break down some basic gardening terms such as structure, texture, soil nutrients and pH and how feeding the soil feeds the plants which in turn will feed us.
