Aodh is held hostage by caution and fear, torn between his dreams and desires and the life he is leading.
In this thought-provoking and highly theatrical narrative dance, reality isn’t always as it seems. Through a string of encounters, Aodh is faced with split-second choices between the known and unknown. Man Down is a gripping new dance theatre show by Carlow-based choreographer and VISUAL LAB Programme Artist Róisín Whelan. Following an original score by Aoife Kavanagh, four exceptional dancers create the evocative whirlwind of Aodh’s internal world. This physically charged choreography confronts us with our own past, successes and failures.
