This drawing and collage workshop will explore our relationship with and disconnect from the natural world. Ida will focus on plants, introduce drawing texhniques and reflect on the excess of consumerism which has led to our current ecological crisis.
Through conversations around the themes raised above, participants will learn to sketch the plants growing in the greenhouse located on VISUAL's grounds and create their own hybrid plant on paper using pencils, paint, collage and recycled materials.
Please bring some of your own recycled materials on the day, all other materials will be provided.
