VISUAL Carlow is delighted to announce a new collaboration with St. Catherine’s Community Services Centre to support their vital Meals on Wheels service through a sustainability-focused initiative.
Every can or bottle you return at VISUAL Carlow supports St. Catherine’s Meals on Wheels service.
By taking part, you’re helping to fund the delivery of hot, nutritious meals to some of Carlow’s most vulnerable older residents.
St. Catherine’s Meals on Wheels provides daily meals to over 115 older people who are unable to cook for themselves, helping them to live independently in their own homes.
Meals are delivered Monday to Friday by a team of dedicated volunteers and cater for all dietary needs. The daily visit also offers important social contact and helps reduce isolation, while giving volunteers the chance to check in on the wellbeing of each person.
