This thoughtful, emotional film looks at the lead-up to Christmas from the perspective of five different individuals & families from the Midlands - from a single mother trying to make ends meet, to an older woman facing the prospect of another Christmas alone.

Wardrop - with his trademark mix of empathy and warm humour - explores the emotional, financial and social challenges of Christmas.
