At The Exchange, Samhain gets loud, lively and full of laughs. This is Halloween with bounce - and a little bit of bite.

Halloween Mayhem Arena comes to The Exchange at the Potato Market in Carlow Town Centre from 27 - 28 October, presented by Carlow County Council in association with Airmax Inflatables. A hub for energetic ghouls and fearless youngsters, the Halloween Mayhem Arena is a thrilling inflatable experience featuring bouncing castles, Halloween family games and the ever-popular Wipeout – all designed for children aged 4 - 12 years. It’s spooky, silly and seriously fun.

Things get creepier (but no less fun) at Halloween Disco and Games afternoons with enough monster moves to raise the roof - followed by special Spooky Cinema Nights including Coco and Hocus Pocus, where all creatures of the night can settle in for a fright.

Get ready for a frightfully fun afternoon at The Exchange as part of the Samhain Festival 2025!
Join Active Carlow for two spooktacular days filled with music, laughter, and just the right amount of mischief. With a live DJ, Halloween-themed games, colouring, dancing, face painting, and plenty of creepy decorations, there’s something for every little ghost and goblin.
Bonus points if you come in costume – we love to see your most ghoulish, glittery, or giggle-worthy outfits!

Suitable for children aged 4–12, of all abilities.

As part of Samhain Festival 2025, The Exchange, Potato Market will be transformed into a spook-tacular cinema space for a special screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco - a heart-warming tale of music, memory, and family, perfect for celebrating Halloween traditions.
Get comfy, bring your favourite blanket, and enjoy the magic of Samhain with this colourful, feel-good film that’s perfect for all the family.

Hocus Pocus

As part of Samhain Festival 2025, The Exchange, Potato Market will be transformed into a spooktacular cinema space for a special screening of the Halloween classic Hocus Pocus!
Join the mischievous Sanderson Sisters for a night of magic, mayhem, and plenty of laughs in this much-loved family favourite. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Samhain with a little spooky fun for all ages.

The Halloween Movie Nights are recommended for families and children 6+.
Tickets (pre-booking essential): €5 per person / €15 per family of 4.
