Where spooky stories and wild imaginations come to life...

This Samhain, The Library becomes a place for curious creatures, creative minds and stories with a spooky twist. Across Carlow’s libraries, little monsters can discover wild animals, make Halloween art, cook up creepy treats and bring stories and songs to life.

Get ready for a wild encounter at Dave’s Halloween Jungle, where an interactive reptile show brings some of the world’s most amazing creatures up close. Budding artists can spend the day getting creative with Jean Robertson at her Halloween Art Camp or join her Halloween Art Class for more spooky making and storytelling.

In the kitchen, The Cool Food School invites young chefs to get into the Halloween spirit with chocolate apple mummies and other spooktacular creations – costumes encouraged! Meanwhile, Liga Valge’s Clay Monster Workshops let little artists design their very own eerie companions from polymer clay.

And when it’s time for stories, Spooky Musical Tales with Ali brings songs, imagination and a touch of Halloween magic to the library.

From creepy creations to curious creatures, Samhain Festival 26 at The Library is a chance to get creative, get spooky and discover where a good story might lead.
