Join Denise Conroy for a meditative workshop exploring Samhain traditions through pen and ink illustration.
This four-hour workshop invites participants to explore the art of pen and ink illustration, with a thematic focus on the threshold time of Samhain. Through experimenting with core drawing techniques of form, tone, texture, and composition, participants will create engaging monochrome illustrations informed by layers of folk traditions, mythological tales, and the ecological markers associated with the turning of the seasons.
The workshop for adults is suitable for all levels and is designed to develop participant’s artistic skills while invoking curiosity, connection and kinship with the wild world.
