The Very Curious Céilí
A moving musical theatre journey where a grandson reconnects with his grandmother’s forgotten memories, discovering the power of family, music and the bond between generations.
The Very Curious Céilí is a joyous and deeply moving gig-theatre experience where memory, storytelling and exhilarating live music collide. Every week, Eddie comes to visit his Granny Eve at the care home. She spends much of her time asleep and seems increasingly beyond his reach. But one day, a mysterious sound leads him to a box of forgotten memories hidden beneath her bed. What happens next turns their world upside down… Brought to life by a brilliant cast of musicians and actors, The Very Curious Céilí places vibrant, high-energy live music at the heart of the story, moving between intimate moments and the irresistible energy of a live gig. The Very Curious Céilí explores the passage of time, the bonds between generations and the transformative power of music in a warm, imaginative and uplifting theatrical production.
