Step into the mystical this Samhain with writer Clifton Redmond, Take A Part Carlow’s Community Writer in Residence. In this special writing workshop, participants will explore the shifting boundaries between reality and imagination, inspired by Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood - a landmark exhibition conceived by Hettie Judah in collaboration with Hayward Gallery Touring, that delves into the joys and heartaches, mess, myths and mishaps of motherhood.

Together, we’ll journey through words and ideas that reflect the ethereal and the unknown - perfect for this time of year when the veil between worlds grows thin. Drawing inspiration from the exhibition’s themes of creation, loss and renewal, this workshop invites both seasoned writers and newcomers to respond creatively to the stories, symbols and emotions that shape our shared human experience.
