Curious about the world of art but not sure where to start? Or ready to dive deeper into the mystery of artists and their creations? This Samhain, join artist Mary Jo Gilligan for a special edition of Have A Gawk, where art lovers of all levels can explore the magic and mystery behind the works on display in a relaxed, playful setting.

Inspired by Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood - a landmark exhibition conceived by Hettie Judah in collaboration with Hayward Gallery Touring, that delves into the joys and heartaches, mess, myths and mishaps of motherhood. Mary Jo will guide the group through an imaginative journey into the exhibition, sparking conversation and creativity through hands-on, mindful activities.

In this Samhain-themed gathering, you’ll conjure colour from the shadows and discover light in the dark - a perfect way to celebrate the season of reflection, transformation and imagination.

Tickets can be purchased online, in person or over the phone at Box Office. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Wheelchair users and any group over 8 persons should book tickets directly through Box Office. Further Terms and Conditions can be found at visualcarlow.ie/visit/booking-information.
