“Laochra Gael 1916” is a 30-minute dramatization of the events surrounding the 1916 Rising. The drama tells the story of those involved in the organization of the rebellion and who gave their lives for Ireland.

This slick production by pupils of Gaelscoil Eoghain Uí Thuairisc especially for Seachtain na Gaeilge is open to the public and includes some well known songs such as ‘Grace’, ‘The Foggy Due’ and ‘Mise Éire’.
