Mirror, mirror on the wall, which is the funniest panto of them all? Why, Snow White and the Seven Quarehawks of course! Christmas just wouldn’t be Christmas in Carlow without Striking Productions’ annual festive offering. Snow White lives at the castle with her wicked Stepmother, Queen Grimhilde. The Queen requests her two well-meaning but ineffective hunstmen to take Snow White deep into the woods and kill her. Snow White escapes the clutches of the evil queen along with the help of our resident comedy duo. Feeling sorry for her, they let her run away, where she finds refuge in a cottage inhabited by seven quarehawks, moonlighting as Santa’s elves during this busy season. A family pantomime spectacular wouldn’t be the same without our hilarious comedy double act, dashing Prince and this year, an outrageous Nanny! We are thrilled to return to the stage, presenting a show filled with lively dance routines, big solo songs and that special Striking magic, and a distinct Carlow flavour added in for good measure. Our witty panto is not for snowflakes and everybody is advised to bring their sense of humour to simply enjoy the experience!
